Lucy Ann Bailey

Lucy Ann Bailey, 74, of Power Line Road, Austinville, VA, and formerly of Panther, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at her home.

Born on June 24, 1943 in Iaeger, WV, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Mae Roberts Shrader. She had been a resident of Austinville since 1990 and was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence, Jake, James and Rufus Shrader; and four sisters, Myrtle Shrader, Ella Jean Riffe, Martha Bailey, and Mary Kennedy.

Survivors include:

Husband: Earl Truman Bailey of the home

Daughter: Lucille Cline and Tommy of Austinville, VA

Son: Ralph Bailey of Austinville, VA

2 grandchildren: Justin Lee Cline and Tyler Lee Bailey

2 brothers: Glen Shrader of Iaeger, WV
Raymond Junior Shrader of Ikes Fork, WV

2 sisters: Alice Shrader of Iaeger, WV
Mildred Osborne of Iaeger, WV

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 7:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Elders Lacy Justice, Johnny Matney and Bobby Matney officiating.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM at the West End Cemetery, Route 11, Wytheville, VA where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
