Lucille Violet Woods Kirby, age 82, of Princeton, formerly of Rock, WV, died on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born on April 17, 1937, in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Cletus Edward and Mabel Bailey Woods. She had lived in Princeton for the past 3 years and was a member of The Deliverance Temple in Brushfork. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Edward Kirby; a son, Ricky Kirby; brothers, Carline and Bobby Woods; and a sister, Adel Wright.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Deliverance Temple with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 prior to the service.
