Lovonia " Bonnie" Shrader of Princeton died August 25, in Cedar Bluff, VA. Born in Hitchens, KY on July 30th, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Bert and Luria (Riggs) Blizzard. She was a 1953 graduate of Iaeger High School and attended Bluewell United Methodist Church.

She spent most of her adult life in Cleveland, Ohio where she moved in 1964 and returned "home" to Princeton in 2001. Bonnie retired from the General Electric Co. after 32 years. There, she was a quality control inspector at Nela Park, known as the first industrial park in the world.

When she wasn't working she enjoyed cooking, gardening and cheering for the Browns and Indians.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Frank Lockhart, Lester Shrader and sisters Wilberta, Betty, Genivieve, Shirley, Verneda and Velma.

Survivors are sons Rick (Maureen) Lockhart of North Ridgeville, OH and Randy (Laura) Lockhart of Newton, N.C., stepsons Paul (Regina) Shrader of Princeton and Mark Shrader of Princeton and stepdaughter Kathy (Tony) Lambert of Bluefield.

The family would like to give special thanks to Paul Shrader, her devoted cats Reggie and Cassie, and Vicki Cline who cared for our mother as she would her own. We are forever grateful to them.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to the Mercer County Animal Shelter. Please don't forget.

Friends will be received on Friday September 2nd from 11-12 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home 3431 Coal Heritage Road in Bluefield. A private graveside service will immediately follow.
