Lorna Ruth Bailey

Lorna Ruth Bailey, 74, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at her home. Born September 25, 1948, in Big Four, WV, she was the daughter of the late James and Josephine Mayes Odum. Lorna was a resident of Bluefield, WV for 17 years and was a homemaker.

Those left to cherish Lorna’s memory are her longtime companion, Walter (Buddy) Peavy of Bluefield, WV; son, Raymond Bailey of Leesburg, FL; daughter, Janet Odum of Hubbard, OH; stepson, Leyden Peavy of Bluefield, WV; brother, Alan Odum of Niles, OH; grandchildren, Nicole Negron of Warren, OH, Matthew Odum of College Station, TX, Logan Bailey of Tampa, FL, Drewey Bailey of Leesburg, FL, Elijah Bailey of Leesburg, FL, Sarah Sivret of Leesburg, FL and Megan Gray of Bluefield, WV; great grandchildren, Alexis Odum of College Station, TX, Jeremiah Negron of Warren, OH, Surj Odum of College Station, TX, Harlow Bailey of Leesburg, FL, and Cove Bailey of Leesburg, FL; niece, Missy Richardson of Colorado Springs, Colorado and nephew, Andrew (Noah) Funderburk of Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

In keeping with Lorna’s wishes she is to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
