Lora Ann Coleman

Lora “Ann” Coleman, 83, of Bluefield, WV, passed away, Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA.

Ann was born on October 13, 1938, in Hurley, VA. She was a daughter of the late Paris and Edna Coleman. She was a homemaker and a Christian of the Church of God faith for 54 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John “Sanford” Coleman, one son, Kenneth Dwayne Coleman, two granddaughters, Ashley Dawn and Courtney Renae Coleman, four sisters, Geneva Lester, Ellen Lester, Rosie Blankenship, and Nora Coleman, three brothers, James Coleman Harlen Coleman, and Everett “Hassle” Coleman.

Survivors include, one daughter, Della Kay Justice and husband Steve of Bluefield, WV; three sons, Danny Coleman and wife Sharon of Weston, WV, Terry Coleman and wife Brenda of Iaegar, WV, and David Coleman and wife Katherine of Beckley, WV; brother, Ronald Coleman of Oceana, WV; two sisters, Thelma Coleman of Oceana, WV, and Zell Walker and husband Harold of Bland, VA. Nine grandchildren, Daniel, Shawn, Kaitlyn, Megan, Trace, Josh, Kristy, Frankie, and, Michelle; and eleven great-grandchildren, Danaylla, Veandala, Alexandria, Alexis, Alyssa, Aric, Korie, Kobie, Jackson, Lilah, and Kyleigh.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Bluefield.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 6:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home.
