Lonnie Edward Graham

Lonnie Edward Graham, 85, of Natchez Lane (Sandlick), Bluefield, West Virginia left his earthly home for a better home on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital.

Lonnie was born on July 29, 1934 in Eckman, West Virginia to the late Reuben Graham and Laura Mitchem Graham. Lonnie had been a resident of the Bluefield area for the past 26 years and was a member of Montcalm Church of God. He retired after 30 years as a coal miner and was a member of the UMWA.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Lonnie Eugene Graham; brother, Clarence Graham; sister, Sarah Byrd and brother in law Danny Byrd.

Lonnie is survived by his wife of 63 years Delores J. Graham of the home; five children, three sons, Michael Graham and wife Judy of Princeton, West Virginia, Gary Graham and wife Lynne of Bluefield, West Virginia and David A. Graham of Bluefield, West Virginia; two daughters, Eva Marlene Belcher and husband Eddie of Sandlick Road Bluefield, West Virginia, Debra Rorrer and husband Charles “Chuck” of Princeton, West Virginia; Siblings, Donald Gene Graham and wife Pam of Bluefield, West Virginia, James Graham and wife Bernice of Falls Mills, Virginia; One sister Dorothy Marshall of Bramwell, West Virginia. Lonnie is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Malcom Riggins officiating the service. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Virginia where David Graham, Chuck Rorrer, David Tilley, Greg Mitchem, Jimmy Graham, Eddie Belcher, Anthony Graham and Chris Belcher will be serving as pallbearers.

The Graham family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 12:00 pm (Noon) until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
