Lois Inez Miller, 80, of Parkway Avenue, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield with her family by her side.
Born on September 7, 1937 in Sagamore, she was a daughter of the late Elsie Pearl Howell. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a very accomplished woman graduating from Bluefield State College Cum Laude in Microbiology and Summa Cum Laude in Education. She was a long time member of the Summit Players and operated her own antique store, “The Second Time Around”. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Miller; and her son, Harry Lee Miller, II.

Son: Stephen L. Miller and wife Bobbi of Bluefield
Sister: Mae McClure and husband Frankie of Cleveland, OH
Grandchildren: Mary Beth, Rachel, Stephanie, Stephen, Christian and Morgan
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Bishop David Boone officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell where Paul Lawrence, Zane Main, Christian Moyer, Martin McClure, Richard Beers, and Joe Waddell will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
