Lois Jeannette Hodges, 82, of (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born on September 22, 1936 in Falls Mills, VA, she was the daughter of the late Taft Jefferson and Ettis Carter Wagner and step-mother Virginia Dollie Wagner. She was a resident of Bluewell for 57 years and was a member of the Macedonia Church in Mudfork. She was a graduate of Graham High School and McClain’s Business School. She was the former owner and operator of the Dogwood Kennels in Bluewell. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and flea-marketing.

She has 3 great grandchildren and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Paul Delida officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where Matthew Hodges, Spencer Hodges, David White, Terry Jennings, Kevin Kelley, Dennis Robinson, Ted Coppola, and Robbie Lester will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
