Lois Walker Bowles

Lois Walker Bowles, 76 of Henrico County, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a brief illness, on June 18, 2021, surrounded by family.  She was born May 8, 1945, to the late Jasper and Ocie Bell Walker.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Judi Walker.  Lois worked for Aramark for 30 plus years where she loved her customers. She touched many people and they truly touched her.  She loved God, her family and friends.  She was a faithful member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Her biggest joy was watching her grandchildren thrive.  She is survived by her sons, Phillip Walker (Kristi) and Paul Bowles (Tammy); grandchildren, Hannah, Matthew, Little Sarah, Big Sarah (Daryl) and Steven; great- granddaughter Cameran Jones; brother Bob Walker and sister Emma Walker; and many cousins.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. 

   Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.  Arrangements made by Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV.
