Linda Gail Watkins-Saddler

Linda Gail Watkins-Saddler, 72, of Princeton (Green Valley), West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, May 03, 2017 at her Residence in Green Valley, West Virginia.                 Linda was born on April 29, 1945 in McComas, West Virginia to the late Clarence Pennington and Geneva Gillespie Pennington. She had been a resident of Green Valley for the past two years and was a 50 years member of the Montcalm Church of God. Linda was a member of the Lady Auxiliary, President of Sunday School. Linda served as a nursing home minister and singer. She was a loving, kind and friendly person who loved everyone and was beloved by everyone.                    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Claude Wayne Watkins, one brother and four sisters.                 Left to cherish her memory is her husband Teddy N. Saddler of the home; two sons Ronnie Watkins of Bland, Virginia and Kenneth Watkins of Rock, West Virginia. One daughter Virginia Bailey and husband Chris of Montcalm, West Virginia. Two brothers, Ronnie Gene Pennington of Montcalm, West Virginia and Lonnie Dan Pennington and wife Loretta of Rock, West Virginia. Two sisters, Betsy Betty Compton of Lashmeet, West Virginia and Joy Marie Stiltner and husband James “Boe” of Bluefield, West Virginia.                 She is also survived by five grandchildren Cherie Smith and husband Kevin, Eric Bailey and wife Amanda, Aaron Bailey and wife Jess, Ronnie Watkins II and Dalton Watkins. Four great grandchildren Nathan Parker Bailey, Emily Grace Bailey, Brantley Jase Bailey, Hunter Wayne Bailey and several special nieces and nephews.                 Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 06, 2017 at 11:00am at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. Ryan Lawrence and Rev. Mac Riggins officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where Eric Bailey, Aaron Bailey, Ronnie Watkins II, Derek Mullins, Jeremy Fortune, James Stiltner, Jr. and Joseph Stiltner will be serving as pallbearers.                 The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, May 05, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.                 Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com
