Linda Darlene Tibbs

Linda Darlene Tibbs, 69, of Sunnyview Court, Bluefield, WV, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 11, 2021 at her home.

Born on November 7, 1951, in Welch, she was the daughter of the late Orville Ray and Mary Helen Mitchem. She had been a resident of Bluefield for more than 35 years and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ward Tibbs.

Survivors include a son, Jamie (Cary) Burton of Chesterfield, VA; daughter, Lisa (Billy) Kemplin of Morgan County, KY; sisters, Nancy Holleman (Johnny) of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Elaine Webb of Pageton; grandchildren, Alexandria Burton and fiancé, William Duff; Tristan and Tianna Kemplin; step grandson, Dylan; step granddaughters, Carlee and Elise; great-grandchildren, William Ezra Duff, IV; Lukas and Levi Duff; and many nieces and nephews.

Missing Linda is her beloved Radar, who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and Sparkle Lynn (Elaine's fur baby) who loved Linda as her second mommy and misses her already.

Due to Covid-19 guidelines, a private service for family and close friends will be held on Tuesday, January 19, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell. *Masks and social distancing are required.

Visitation from 2 to 3 with service starting at 3 with the Reverend Jimmy Sanson officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Bluefield, VA. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
