Linda Lou Johnson

Linda Lou Johnson, 71, of Covemont Loop (Brushfork), Bluefield, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at her home.

Born on July 2, 1948 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Elsvan Johnson, Sr. and Albenia Mae Crigger Johnson. She had been a resident of Brushfork since 1991 and was a member of the Fairview Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death siblings and in-laws, Richard Johnson, Gertrude & Wayne Farmer, Betty and Jack Murphy, Charles Johnson, Shelby and Jim Weimerskirch, Jim Sheaves, James Woods, Frank Belcher, Barbara Johnson, Avery Toohey and Shelia Johnson.

Survivors include her very special and dear twin sister, Brenda Sue Johnson; and siblings and in-laws, Elizabeth Johnson of FL, Kate Johnson of NY, Cecil Sheaves of Grottoes, VA, Barbara Woods of Bluefield, Ruth Belcher of Welch, Ethel and Dale Davis of Nemours, Elsvan Johnson, Jr. of Princeton, Rebecca Carol Johnson of Princeton, many nieces, nephews and special friends, Kim Dawson of Falls Mills, VA, and Mary Walker of Princeton. Special thanks to Hospice Compassus of Princeton for the loving care and compassion showed to Linda.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Larry Dyer and Rev. Blake Bivens officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Saturday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
