Lillis Ashbrook

TITUSVILLE, FL- Lillis L. Sadler (Jarvis) Ashbrook, 84 of Titusville, FL passed away at her daughter's home on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 following a long battle with Parkinson’s.

Lillis was born Sept 19, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Talmage and Ida Sadler of Leckie, WV.   She was a member of Gist Creek Baptist Church, Sevierville, TN before moving to Florida.  She was also   active with various Pentecostal Holiness churches while living in West Virginia. Lillis attended Bluefield State, and Concord College. She received her Master’s Degree from Marshall University. She taught in McDowell County school system in WV and taught several years and in Sevier County, TN school system.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Lorraine and Rex Sadler; one sister, Juanita Ziggafuse, granddaughter, Rachel Jarvis and daughter, Alice Kathleen Jarvis.

Left to cherish her memory are two sisters: Norma Paine, Julian, NC and Selma Huff, Anawalt, WV.

Bobby Jarvis (Mitzie) Titusville, FL;

Bruce (Kim) Jarvis, Olympia, KY;

Daughter: Linda "Sue" (Danny) Wyatt, Titusville, FL.

Six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 1:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev.  Jim Sanson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where grandsons: Dennis Jarvis II, Joey Jarvis, Aaron Jarvis, and nephew, James Jarvis,  Kenny Jarvis and Timothy Huff will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Monday from 11:00-1:00 at the funeral home.
