Lee Jackson Shrader, 71, of Bluefield, WV passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at his home. Born March 23, 1951 in Big Four, WV, he was a son of the late William Jackson and Maggie Anthony Shrader. Lee was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by sisters and brothers. Those left to cherish Lee’s memory are his loving wife, Bonnie Church Shrader; 4 sons, Jackie Shrader of Hinton, WV, Richard Shrader, Jackie Maynor, and Lee Shrader, all of NC; 5 daughters, Crystal Shirley of Bluefield, WV, Michelle King of Sanford, NC, Renee Cook of Jacksonville, NC, Julie Shrader of NC, and Paula Church of Princeton, WV; sister, Pat Brock of Bluefield, WV; 23 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, August 5, 2022 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers and the Mercer County Veteran’s Honor Guard will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.cravens-shires.com.
