Lee Anderson Finley, Sr.

On April 17th, 2024, Lee Anderson Finley Sr. `82'  gained his heavenly wings.

Those left to cherish his memories his is wife of 14 yrs. Lavale Finley. His children Colleta ( Ducky) Holliday of Charlotte NC--Lee and Pam of Monroe NC--Brenda ( Sissy ) Aaron Snodgrass of Sophia WV.--Phillip Finley of Princeton WV.  Step kids- Willie and Leah Cox- Tesa and Lee-Brady and Tammy- Frank and Ruby.  Dad had 9 grandchildren-- 4 great grand daughters and one great grandson.

Lee was born on  Aug 10, 1941 in Wilcoe, WV. He lived most of his life in Wilcoe and Gary WV for 67yrs. After his first wife Janice passed away, he moved to Beckley, WV where he met his wife Lavale. They have been married for 14 yrs.   Lee lived to play his guitar and sing in church. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren very much.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents Arley and Ida Finley-- Daughter Laquetta -- Brothers--Willie, John, Frank, and Wallace. Sister Blanche. Son Larry Wayne. And Son In Law Tommy Holliday.  

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 24 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell WV. The viewing will be from 10-11and funeral at 11 with Randall and Mary Brickey officiating. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
