Lawrence Eric Cooper

Our Beloved husband, father, proud grandfather and son Lawrence “Eric” Cooper, 48, of Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia passed away on Sunday, November 03, 2019.

Eric was born on June 11, 1971 in Colorado to Connie Cooper of Princeton, West Virginia and the late Larry Cooper.

Eric was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing riding his ATV and spending time with his three weenie dogs.

Eric was preceded in death by his father Larry Cooper, father in law D.C. Stanley, mother in law Libby Stanley and several aunts and uncles; grandfather, James Edward Cooper; grandmother, Ella Mae Kennedy; and step grandfather, Daniel Boone Kennedy.

Eric leaves behind to cherish his memory his High School sweetheart and loving wife of 27 years Janis Cooper of the home; twos sons Christopher Cooper and companion Taylor Minyo of Saint Clairsville, Ohio and Eric Cooper and companion Anne Wilkinson of Blacksburg, Virginia. His first granddaughter Avery Cooper of Saint Clairsville, Ohio; beloved mother Connie Cooper of Princeton, West Virginia and one brother Jimmy Cooper of Virginia. Eric had many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends that loved him.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. Johnny Mae Stanley officiating the service.

The Cooper family will receive friends and relatives on Friday from 3:00-4:00 at the funeral home.
