Landon Shay Jarvis, 42, of Princeton, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 27, 1979 in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Samuel Rufus Jarvis and Tina Loree Lawson Snyder.
Survivors include, uncles, Chris and Roger Lawson; Aunt, Yvonne Lawson Blevins; first-cousin, who he loved as a niece, Brycelyn Lawson; step-father, Dave Snyder, whom he loved and admired; Loretta and Steve Williams as mother and father figures in his life; sister, Amber Dunford; John Dickerson and Steve Nogosky whom he was closer than brothers with, significant other, Summer Finley, and a slew of friends from all walks of life, who he considered family. Landon, at times, attended Lifeline Church and was an electrician for Wallace Wiring. Landon loved playing horse shoes and cornhole and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with friends. He loved to surround himself with loved ones. He made everyone laugh and smile. He wore his smile so well and you would never even know he was feeling down.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, June 21, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Pastor Blake Bievens officiating, the pastor who lead him home to be with Jesus Christ. Interment will follow later Woodlawn Memorial Park where John Dickerson II, Ronnie Beavers, Greg Gills, Steve Williams, Rusty Bailey, and Rodney Wallace will serve as pallbearers. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving surviving family and friends.
