Kevin Scott Hoops

Kevin Scott Hoops, 45, of North Tazewell, VA< passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born on January 10, 1978 he was a son of Shelby Price Hoops of North Tazewell, VA and the late Clarence “Buster” Hoops. He did yardwork, was a landscaper by trade and was a lifelong resident of North Tazewell.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his great niece, Brianna Hoops.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his companion, Eunice Roark of North Tazewell, VA; a brother, Chuck (Jessica) Hoops of Bluefield, VA; sister, Kimberly Lawless of PA; nephew, Gavin Hoops and Brandon Lawless; and niece, Tara Lawless and great niece, Vivian Grace Boin.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Kelvin Seabolt officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where Shannon Hoops, Chad Williams, Justin Price, James Hess, Anthony Harris, Gavin Hoops and Trenton Roark will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
