Kevin Lee Bishop

Kevin Lee Bishop, 44, of Kimball, WV, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at his home. Born June 22, 1978 in Welch, WV, he was the son of Kathy Bishop. Kevin was preceded in death by a step-father, France Workman; and grandmother, Mary Ellen Bishop.

Those left to cherish Kevin’s memory are his mother, Kathy Bishop of the home; son, Dakota Bishop of the home; sisters, Heather Bishop and fiancé, Larry Helms, Jr. of Kimball, WV, and Melissa Bishop of the home; step-dad, Jackie Mullins of Gary, WV; uncles, Michael Bishop, Jack Bishop, and Ray Mitchem; aunts, Christine Denton, and Phyllis Mitchem; nephews, Landon Helms, Kaden Helms, and Malaki Bishop; niece, Mariah McPeak; like a brother, Michael Price of Kimball; and best friend, Jada Smith of Kimball; a special friend, Deborah Bushnell; and many more extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Living Hope Baptist Church, 1049 Riverside Drive, Welch, WV 24801 with Rev. Mike Blake officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at the Rock House Cemetery where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
