Kenneth Earl Watkins

Kenneth Earl Watkins, 55, of Rock, WV, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at his home.  Born March 21, 1965 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of the late Claude and Linda Pennington Watkins. He was a retired textile mill worker in North Carolina and attended Mt. Grove Community Church.

Those left to cherish Kenneth’s memory are his sister, Virginia Bailey and husband Chris of Montcalm, WV; brother, Ronnie Watkins of Bland, VA; three uncles and one aunt; several nieces and nephews; and fiancé, Lindsay Hamby of Rock, WV.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at the East Family Cemetery on Windmill Gap Mt. where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Watkins family.
