Katie "Pat" Ruth Hubbard

Katie Ruth “Pat” Hubbard, age 77, of Browning Lambert Mountain, died on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Born on January 1, 1942, in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Pearl Helmondollar Miller. She had lived on Browning Lambert Mountain for the past 31 years and was a member of the Church of God in Montcalm. She was retired from Bluefield Regional Medical Center having worked in Food Service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Howard Garland “Judge” Hubbard, Jr. and a brother, Doug Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Joseph Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearer Vincil Perkins. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service. The family is accepting online condolences at www.cravens-shires.com.
