Kathy Susan Poe

Kathy Susan Poe, 64, of Princeton, WV, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born on May 27, 1956 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Richard Marvin and Glenna Martin Poe. She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County and had worked as a CNA at GlenWood Park Retirement Village and as an OR Secretary at Bluefield Regional Medical Center for 20 years. She had a love for her three cats, Mandy, Misty and Cherry. She was a great softball catcher and loved Bluefield Beaver Football.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Mark Poe.

Survivors include her sisters, Kerri Poe (Rhonda) of Princeton, WV; Sherri Poe of Bluefield, WV; brothers; Mike (Patty) Poe of Bluefield, WV, and Charles (Linda) Poe of Athens, WV; niece, Tracy Scott; nephews, Michael Poe and Nicholas Poe; great niece, Brynne Poe; great nephew, Kole Poe; and several aunts and cousins.

Memorial services to celebrate Kathy’s life will be conducted on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Darrell Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.

Friends may call prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
