Kathy Lou Brown, 68, of Bluefield, VA went to her Heavenly Home on June 18, 2021. Born August 12, 1952 in Hensley, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Zella Lester England. She was a resident of Bluefield, VA for 17 years, was a member of Deliverance Temple Church, and had retired as a cook at Dudley Primary School. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a brother, Freddie England.
Those left to cherish Kathy’s memory are her husband, Darrell Brown; children, Tammy Whistlehunt Parks and husband, Victor, Earlene Whistlehunt Oxley and husband, Terry, Ricky Brown and wife, Sheri, and Amanda Brown Traigle and husband, Danny; brothers, James England, Leonard England, Harvey England, and Greg England; sisters, Gay Smith and Marge Wright; grandchildren, Kelli Whistlehunt Southern and husband, Michael, Josie Marushia, Gracie Oxley, Zach Brown, Jarod Brown, Mitchell Traigle, Audra Traigle, and Addison Traigle; and great-grandchildren, Dawson, Chandler, and Delilah.
There will be a private funeral service for the family with Pastor David Kirby officiating. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Mausoleum where Billy Smith, Joey Smith, Ricky Brown, Terry Oxley, Victor Parks, and Michael Southern will serve as pallbearers.
