Kathleen Lane Presley

Kathleen (Lane) Presley, 75, of Princeton, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Glenwood Healthcare Center.

Born October 8, 1948, in Eckman, WV. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Laura Lane. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ralph Presley and daughter Tina Renee Presley. Three sisters:  Betty Christian, Louise Graham and Agnes Fowler. Two brothers: Frankie Lane and Fred Eddie Lane. One son-in-law: Terry Price.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters, Angela Charlene Presley of Princeton, Belva Pauline Price and partner Roger Bailey Jr of Bluefield. One grandson, Travis Gill and wife Rebecca of Princeton. Two granddaughters, Cadence and Ava Gill of Princeton. One son-in-law: Moses Gill. Two sisters, Pauline Martin of Booneville, KY and Mary McGraw and husband Brenen D. McGraw of Leckie, WV. Two brothers, Johnny Douglas Lane and wife Robin of Beckley, WV and Clyde Lane of Virginia. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Special friends Ellen (Hicks) Claus, Jay Shelton, Tammy Dye and Jason Belcher. A special thank you to Glenwood Healthcare Center, their wonderful staff and Dr. Scott Keffer for taking such good care of her for the last 4 months.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Rev. Emory Marchant officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Travis Gill, Moses Gill, Johnny Douglas Lane, Brenen R. McGraw, Roger Bailey Jr. and Jason Belcher serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call an hour prior to services, from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
