Kathleen Ellen Bird Mullins

Kathleen Ellen Bird Mullins, age 81, of Christiansburg, passed away on Monday January 29th, 2024.

Born on June 15th, 1942 in Matoaka, WV, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Susie Bird. She was a dear sweet Mother who always had a smile for everyone and was loved by all.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Mullins and daughter Wilma Thompson as well as 9 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include:

Children: daughter Carolyn Cole Maynor and son Darrel Mullins and wife Mary of the home.

Grandchildren: Cody Cole, Kayla Cole, Tracy Thompson, Nathan Thompson and wife Destiny, and Dominick Mullins.

As well as many precious great grandchildren and nephew Ray Hampton who she loved as her own.

Funeral services will by conducted on Friday February 2nd, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Elder Lonnie Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
