Kathleen Marie Bowman

Kathleen Marie Bowman, 89, of Lorton Lick Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, March 07, 2018 at Westwood Health Care in Bluefield, Virginia. Kathleen was born on June 24, 1928 in Mercer County, West Virginia to the late Roby and Maudie Riggs Helmandollar. She was a member of the Montcalm Pentecostal Holiness Church in Montcalm, West Virginia. She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William H. “Pee Wee” Bowman; three sisters Lois Browning, Margaret Shoemaker, Shirley Hall; three brothers Curtis Helmandollar, Paul Helmandollar and Frankie Helmandollar. She is survived by one son Keith Bowman and wife Josephine of Princeton, West Virginia; one daughter Sharon Shell and husband Douglas of Bermuda Run, North Carolina; two brothers Bobby Helmandollar and wife Macie of Bluefield, West Virginia and Buford Helmandollar and wife Evelyn of Princeton, West Virginia; one sister Judith Webb and husband Bayne of Delaware. She is also survived by four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia with Grandsons and Great Grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com.
