Kathleen Mae Bailey

Kathleen Mae Bailey, 102, of Bluefield, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Toms Creek, Virginia on February 26, 1916 to the late Ella Ratliff Stillwell and George Washington Stillwell. She lived in Bluefield all her adult life.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Bailey and her daughter, Etta Mae Bailey, five sisters, six brothers and one grandson, Kevin Bailey and one great grandson, Chris Johnson.

Survivors include one son, Albert Bailey, Jr. of Los Angeles, California; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Denise) Rogers of Raleigh, NC, Delma (Dale) Bailey of Bluefield, WV, Tracey (Antonio) Martin of Laurel, MD, Michelle Bailey of Los Angeles, CA, William (Bubba) Bailey and Gordan Bailey of Bluefield, WV and Kendrick Bailey of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters, Mary Kate Smalls and Doris Spencer of Bluefield, WV; twenty-one great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Hospice nurses and aides for an awesome job taking care of Granny.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Faith Center Church, 102 Federal St., Bluefield, WV with Bishop Fredrick Brown officiating. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Bluefield, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 PM until service time. “I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course. I have kept the faith” 2nd Timothy 4:7.
