Kapes Lance Workman, 45, of Dogwood Lane, Bluefield, VA, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Born on November 19, 1973 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Carlene Harman Workman of Bluefield, VA and the late Kyle Workman. He was a veteran of the US Marines where he served as an aviation test cell mechanic. He also had worked as a mechanical maintenance technician. He was an accomplished guitarist and enjoyed coaching little league basketball.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Davis Workman of the home; daughter, Terrwyn Workman of the home; mother, Carlene Workman of Bluefield, VA; maternal grandmother, Virginia “Totsie” Harman of Bluefield, VA; sister, Heather Workman of Bluefield, VA; nieces, Brittany Caldwell and son Bentley of Bluefield, VA, Tiffany Caldwell (Klint Kelley) of Bluewell; nephews, Adam Davis and Zachary Davis of Bluefield ,WV, and Cole Davis of Bluefield, VA; brothers in law, Charles Ray (Twila) Davis, Jr. of Bluefield, WV, and Doug Davis of Bluefield, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastors Ray Petty and Chris Williams officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Military honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veterans Council.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
