Judy Ann Carter

Judy Ann Barrett Carter, 73, of Old Bramwell Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday , January 29, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born on March 2, 1948 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Louella Ballard Barrett.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Barrett Duncan of Cary, NC.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Arlie H. Carter; 2 sons, Wayne Carter of Bluefield and Robby (Michelle) Carter of Bluefield; a sister, Janie (Cecil) Mitchell of Bluefield, VA; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. N. R. Taylor, pastor of the Voice of Praise Worship Center, officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
