Judy Brown, 77, of Princeton, WV, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on April 3, 2020, after a short illness. Judy was born to parents, Virgil Ray Shrader and Lena Mae Shrader of Sandlick, WV, on May 14, 1942. She attended high school at Montcalm High School.
Judy lived in South Carolina for 35 years as a lead dietician manager before returning to Sandlick, WV eight years ago to live near her childhood home. She attended Lorton Lick Baptist Church.
Judy was most proud of her family, who were her treasures on earth. She was a loving mother to five children, who are Karen Smith and husband Lewis, Sharon Peck and fiancé Jackie Kimbleton, Todd Peck and wife Brenda, Scott Uria and wife Tamara of Greenville, SC, and Erik Uria and wife Kelly of Gaston, SC.
Judy was also a grandmother to 20 grandchildren who adoringly called her Grandma. Those grandchildren are Nathanial Smith; Trista Smith; Matthew Peck and wife Sara, Andrew Peck and wife Carolyn; Brittney Emanuel and husband Sean; Alexander Uria; Nichole White; Gabrielle Uria, Destiny Uria, Sofia Uria, Olivia Miller, Jordan Montgomery; Matthew and Dustin Kimbleton; Taylor Holder and husband Ken Mountz, Braidy Holder and wife Catherine, Kynzie Holder, Kassidy Uria, Zakary Uri; and Serena Cable.
Judy was also a great-grandmother to 18 great-grandchildren. Those great- grandchildren are Noelle, Madison, and Charlotte Peck; Ellie and Abbie Peck; Mila and Tyson Emanuel; Zion Uria; Shawn, Carmen, and Cameron Mason, Sebastian White; Madelyn Holder; Tatum Holder, Avan and Chandler Kimbleton, Cody and Alyssa Mabe. Great-Great Grandchild is Emma.
Judy was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Aniel. She is survived by two brothers, Wesley Shrader and wife Julie, and Eugene Shrader and wife Betty.
Left to cherish her memory, besides her family treasures, are her long-time friends, Diana Wood and Mattie Bookhart.
Pall bearers include Todd Peck, Scott Uria, Erik Uria, Sharon Peck, Jackie Kimbleton, and Lewis Smith. A private service for immediate family will be held on April 7, 2020, officiated by Pastor Todd Peck.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
