BLUEFIELD, WV – Juanita Amos, 91, passed away July 29, 2017 at Mercer Nursing Home. Mrs. Amos was born to the late Preston and Vivian Simpkins on May 29, 1926. She was also preceded in death by husbands Charles A. Farley, Cecil E. Amos and twelve brothers and sisters. She attended the Bluefield Church of Christ and was retired from the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. Mrs. Amos is survived by a son Timothy Farley (Susan), Prince George, VA; two sisters Faye Williams, Bluefield, VA and Norma Jean Langdon (Norman), Lakeland, FL; two brothers Howard Simpkins, Montcalm, WV and Ray Simpkins, Pembroke, VA; a grandson Kristopher Farley (Jessica), Glen Allen, VA; a great-grandson Cameron Farley, Glenn Allen, VA; and two close friends Mildred Mills, Bluefield, VA and Carol Thompson, Roanoke, VA; several nieces and nephews. Those wishing to attend services are requested to meet on Wednesday, August 2 at 9:00 AM at Craven-Shires Funeral Home, Bluewell, WV.
