Joy Ellen Shepard

Joy Ellen Shepard, 84, of Union Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on October 19, 2017 in Pounding Mill, VA. Born on October 12, 1933 in Bramwell, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Caroline Lambert Lewis. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and was a former nurse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lloyd Shepard; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include: 2 daughters:      Linda Walker of Merritt Island, FL and Tammy Mitchem of Abbs Valley, VA 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren   Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
