Johnny William Craft, 44, of Lerona, West Virginia formerly of Mohegan, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at home after a long illness.
Johnny was born on March 08, 1974 at Grace Hospital in Welch, West Virginia, the son of Billy J. and Gloria J. (Stump) Craft. When Johnny was in Welch he attended the Welch Pentecostal of Holiness Church and Athens Church of God in Athens, WV after moving to Lerona. Johnny loved sports baseball in particular and playing the guitar.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Heather (Harmon) Craft, Paternal Grandparents Elmer Craft Sr., and Girlandine (Snow) Craft and Ada Mae (Blankenship) Craft; Maternal grandparents Robert and Elizabeth Stump.
Johnny is survived by his parents, Billy J. and Gloria J. (Stump) Craft; son Dakota Asbury; sister Shelly (Joe) Pack of Princeton, West Virginia; nephews Cory Bolden and wife Mary of Glenwood, WV and Aaron Bolden of Bluefield; grandnephews Ethan and Elijah and grandniece Adalyn whom he loved very much, special cousins Michael Green and wife Tammy of Davy, Crystal Holden of Beckley and Bobby Pardue of Mt. Airy, NC. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

In accordance with Johnny’s wishes he will be cremated with a memorial service at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Stanley Metz, Sr. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
