John Joseph Charles Powell

JohnJoseph Charles Powell born February 16, 2000 in Ludington Michigan went home to be with the lord on May 4, 2020. He is survived by his significant other Russell Shelton, his mother Melissa Morningstar Powell (Timothy Patrick Powell), and his father David Allen Powell (Jill Briggs Powell), his brothers Nathan Allen Powell, Memphis Zane Christian Keaton, Ashton Blake Keaton, and Gabriel Austin Powell, and his sisters Alivia and Maddy Powell. He is also survived by his loving Aunt Kristy Lynn Staffen (uncle Thomas North), and his cousins who grew up by his side and were like his brothers Michael Allen Wallager, Zachary Michael Wallager, and Dakota James Wallager. He has many loving family members of which there are too many to list.

JJ enjoyed the outdoors. He loved showing his emotions through art, of which pastel chalks were his favorite outlet. He was a kind, caring, and selfless soul. He enjoyed video games and enjoyed playing them with his brothers. His favorite artist is Lindsey Sterling and her beautiful violin playing. His favorite song was “A caged Bird.”

JJ was a special soul, who will forever be missed. His wishes were to be cremated, and his services will be held in Michigan at a later date as his brother Nathan Powell is currently deployed overseas.
