John Allen Horton

John Allen Horton born June 17, 1949 passed away In his bed at his family home surrounded by his loved ones and the love of his life of 52 yrs by his side holding his hand in the Early morning hours in Goodwill Hollow, West Virginia on February 7, 2024 John Allen best known for being a great father and a loving husband with a one and a kind personality. John was loved by all who knew him and met him. John worked in the coal mines and Sawmillls, he enjoyed working along side, his father in earlier years doing sawmill labor and later on his wife and hisself ran several different types of businesses , store businesses etc. John was a Jack of all trades and a master at all he could relate to any body and everybody at any time or anywhere very social and down to earth person. John attended the church of Christ in Goodwill Hollow ,Was born to Juanita Margaret Carver and John R Horton, June 17, 1949 on top of Sinia mountain, Goodwill Hollow. John resided there all of his life with his family and was preceded in death by his parents John R Horton and mother Juanita Margaret Horton ( maiden name Carver) also Preceded in death , younger Brother Freddie Horton and his firstborn son James Allen Horton. Survivors; loving wife Connie Jean Horton maiden name (Dunford) From Coaldale Mountain , Bramwell West Virginia, his daughter Christina Jeanette Horton and her children ,Alexis Natalie Horton , and Charlize (Dani) Jace Horton, John ( Junebugg) Jay Junior Horton, son John Charles Horton jr, and also Jessica Lee Daniels ( Dunford), Her husband Casey Daniels and her two daughters Alyssa paige Carver and Kyliegh Jean Daniels and surviving siblings Margaret and husband Richard Nelson, brother Willard and wife Elsie Horton, brother Barry and Gail Horton, Nieces and nephews ;Julie Nelson David Nelson Craig Horton Jason Horton Donna Horton Belinda Horton Jeff Horton Nicole Horton, and also John’s great grand daughter Ava Brooke Horton, Numerous numerous family members, numerous numerous friends that were like family, too many to mention. John was loved by many and as per John Allen Horton’s request there will be no funeral services or memorial services held.
