Joanna Lynn Williams

Joanna Lynn Williams, 60, of Princeton WV, died on December 20, 2023, at Princeton Community Hospital.  Born July 10, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Carolyn Thompson.  She attended Bluefield High School.  She worked at Cargo and Res-Care.  While her health permitted, she enjoyed her son and daughter, grandchildren as well as gardening, spending time with her animals, shopping, going to the beach, and traveling with friends.  There is nothing she loved more than spending time with her children and animals.  She was preceded in death by Michael Poore and Benjamin Williams.  Those left to cherish her memory, son, Shane Poore and significant other Stephanie Ellison, her grandchildren, Marlei and Miah Poore of Princeton, WV. Daughter and son in law, Brittany and Justin Fowler, her grandchildren Allison, Robert, Sammy Fowler and Adian Poore of Pulaski, VA; Funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Pastor Steve Poore.  Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until the service hour.  The Williams family is being served by Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV.  3431 Coal Heritage Road, Bluefield WV, 24701.
