Jo Ann Wirt

Jo Ann Wirt, 82, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Maples Health Care. Born January 16, 1938 in Bluefield, VA, Jo Ann was a daughter of the late John and Audrey Maynard Alley. She was of the Baptist faith and a housewife.  In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Wirt, daughter, Kathy Jo Wirt, and brother, John Alley.

Those left to cherish Jo Ann’s memory are her special friend, Henry Austin of Bluefield, WV; son, Michael Wirt of Tazewell, VA; Sisters, Barbara Webb of Princeton, WV, and Jessie Mae Neal of Tazewell, VA; and half-brother, Bill Maynard of FL.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M Monday, August 3, 2020 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
