Jimmy Howard Overbaugh

Jimmy Howard Overbaugh, 77, of Kade Hollow Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his home.

Born on December 12, 1944 in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Elmer and Sally Ellen Presley Overbaugh.  He was a graduate of Montcalm High School and was a retired machinist for Coppinger, EIMCO and JOY Manufacturing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ilene Davidson Overbaugh; and a granddaughter, Sydney Paitsel.

Survivors include his daughters, Angela (Tolson) Willis of Apex, NC and Tammy Paitsel of Princeton, WV; 4 grandchildren, Chase and Brooke Fortune and Skylar and Dakota Paitsel; step grandchildren, Bladen, Logan and Zack; a brother, Teddy (Tonya) Overbaugh of Pulaski, VA and sister, Sheila Overbaugh-Blacken of VA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Robert Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Tolson Willis, Chase Fortune, Dakota Paitsel, Logan Ramey, Bobby Helmick and Joe Lupton serving as pallbearers.

Friends may call Thursday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
