Jimmy Ray Kelly, Sr.

Jimmy Ray Kelly, Sr., 62, of Bluefield, WV passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Jimmy was born on June 9, 1956 in Welch, WV to Cass and Verna Kelly. He was one of seven children. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, and brothers George Kelly and Robert Kelly.
Those left behind to always love and cherish Jimmy’s memory are sons Jimmy Kelly, Jr and wife Kristy of Bluefield, WV and Matthew Kelly of Bluefield, WV; daughter Misty Newcomb and husband David of Princeton, WV. Two brothers, Johnny Kelly of Pineville, WV and Tommy Kelly of Asco, WV; sister Mary Woolridge of Bluefield, WV. Jimmy also leaves behind his Aunt Dorothy White of Bluefield, WV who he loved as a mother. Six grandchildren: Russell Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Shawn Kelly, Cory Byrd, Alex Falvo, and Bryleigh Hurt. 2 great grandchildren: Christopher Kelly and Hailey Osborne.
Keeping with Jimmy’s wishes, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 1:00 PM at The Capels Church of God.
