Jessee “Lee” Leroy Roark, 83, of Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, January 09, 2019 at The Maples Nursing and Rehab.
Jessee was born on December 16, 1935 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Lee Roy Roark and Pearl Hazel Jessee Roark. Jessee was retired from the City of Bluefield, West Virginia where he spent his time working within the Parks and Rec Department. He was an avid Bluefield Beavers fan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Charles Roark, Bill Roark and Cecil Roark. Six sisters Frances Crawford, Edith Lorraine Roark, Margaret Roberts, Kathleen Roark, Brenda Parks and Barbara Roark.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings one brother Robert Edward Roark and wife Carol of Pulaski, Virginia; three sisters Betty Lou Williams and husband Eddie of Brushfork, West Virginia, Shirley Ann Brunty of Bluefield, West Virginia and Earnestine Roark and husband Russell of Pulaski, Virginia.
Graveside services will be held for Jessee on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Stephen Umburger officiating. Inurnment will follow the graveside service.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia.
