Jerry Eli Mullins, 82, died Thursday January 9, 2020 at White Oak of Shelby in North Carolina following a long illness.
Jerry was born May 9, 1937 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late Eli and Nancy Ella Mullins. He was the middle child of two sisters. His older sister has proceeded him in death.
Jerry was married 50 years to his late wife, Rosella Mullins. He enjoyed watching westerns, playing cards, checkers, and reading books. He loved his church (Pentecostal Worship Center), and fellowshipping with others. Jerry was born in McDowell County, raised and lived most of his life in West Virginia, but later moved to NC.

Mullins; sister, Ada Sizemore; grandson, Stanley Lawrence Mullins; granddaughter, Laura Tackett, great-grandson, Jeremiah Moore; son-in-law, Lee Slusher; and son-in-law, John Adkins.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory to his daughter, Evelyn Rose; son, Buddy (Paula) Mullins; daughter, Carolyn Slusher; daughter, Betty Adkins, son, Stanley (Terry) Mullins; 13 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at Cravens-Shires at I PM with Rev. Jason Walker officiating. A graveside service will be held directly after at Woodlawn Memorial.
