Jerry Lee McComas

Jerry Lee McComas, 70, of Bluewell, WV, passed away February 5, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

Born on September 28, 1950 in Bluefield, WV to Richard and Helen McComas. He was a 1969 graduate of Bluefield High School and married his sweetheart, Dorothy Shrader McComas in 1970. He was retired as a welder from The Daniels Company. He was an avid hunter and loved being outdoors, he especially loved watching deer which he often done from his backyard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Chilco; uncles, Bobby and J.L. Fairchild.

Survivors left to cherish his memories include his wife of 50 years, Dorothy McComas of the home; sons- Jeremy and his wife Amy McComas of Bluefield, WV and Justin and his wife Kyla McComas of Dubuque, Iowa; 6 grandchildren whom he loved and adored- Abigail, Isabella, Gatlin, Maeve, Ryklynn and Gannon McComas.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Chad Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call prior to services on Wednesday, from 10:00-11:00 AM, at the funeral home.
