Jerry Wayne Dickerson, Sr.

Jerry Wayne Dickerson, Sr., 63, of Bramwell, West Virginia, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020.  Born April 19, 1957 in Richlands, Virginia, Jerry was a son of the late John E. and Alice N. Graham Dickerson, Sr.  He was a resident of Bramwell for 38 years and was a member of Deliverance Temple Church. 

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by four brothers, Benny Dickerson, Dell Dickerson, Herman Whitlow, and Jr Dickerson.

Those left to cherish Jerry’s memory are his wife, Patricia L. Dyson Dickerson; four sons, Jerry W. Dickerson, Jr of Roanoke, VA, Kevin L. Bunch of Princeton, WV, Michael A. Bunch of Roanoke, VA, and Darnell E. Thompson of Bramwell, WV; two daughters, Angela S. Cottingham of Princeton, WV, and Amy E. Shrewsbury of Princeton, WV; two sisters, Marie Massey of Willards, MD, and Wanda Cooper of Bluefield, WV; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild on the way.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home with Reverend David Hearcy officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where Kevin Bunch, Jerry Dickerson III, Todd Cottingham, Logan Johnson, Darnell Thompson, Josh Shrewsbury, Jerry Dickerson, and Michael Bunch will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the time of service.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.cravens-shires.com.  Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell is serving the Dickerson family.
