Jarrett John Shrader

Jarrett John Shrader, 46, of Princeton, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at his home.

Born on November 14, 1976 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Linda Proffitt Saddler of Princeton and the late Jerry Shrader, Sr. He had been a former cook and handyman doing different odd jobs. He had a love and passion for music. He was a musician in numerous bands throughout his life.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Opal Shrader, maternal grandparents, John and Thelma Proffitt.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Saddler and stepfather Steven Saddler of Princeton; children, Jarrett Andrew Shrader and spouse Amanda Shrader of Rock; daughter, Hannah Shrader of Princeton; siblings, Jerry Shrader, Jr., and Rajah of Richmond, VA, Mark “Bubby” Jones and Andrea of Princeton, Justin Shrader and Amanda of Bluefield and Delissa Haynes of Princeton; nieces and nephews, Makayla Shrader, Cadence Jones, Aubrey and Colton Shrader; grandchildren, Michael, Ethan, Chase and Khloe; special uncles, Sherman and Sammy Shrader of Falls Mills; and his girlfriend of 6 years, Regina Graham.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam officiating.

Friends may call prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM on Thursday.
