Janice Jackson

Janice C. Jackson, 82, of Littlesburg Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

Born on January 31, 1937 in Stanford, WV, she was a daughter of the late James Robert and Lillie Millsap Clendenen. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a member of the Mid-Way Christian Church. She was a 1955 graduate of Graham High School and then attended business school. She was a retired secretary with 51 years for Virginia Foods and Nash Finch in Bluefield, Virginia.

Survivors include her husband, James D. “Jim” Jackson of the home; a brother, Robert “Bob” (Shelby) Clendenen of Bluefield, VA; and a nephew, Robert (Karen) Clendenen and their daughter, Erin Clendenen of Richmond, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Dan Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where men of the church will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
