James Dennis Thore

James Dennis Thore, 64, of Ranson, WV, formerly of Jenkinjones, WV, passed Sunday, June 4, 2023, at his home.

Born June 1, 1959, in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Edward and Betty Johnson Thore. James worked as a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by brothers, Donald, Roger, and William Thore and sisters, Debbie Bolen and Barbara Ann Miller.

Survivors include sisters, Patricia Darlene Shoun and husband Douglas of Kearneysville, WV, and Linda Sue Coleman and husband Tommy of Manassas, VA.

Graveside rites will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV, with Rev. Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home from 12:00-12:45 PM.
