James Frazier

James Frazier, 83, of Bluefield, WV, passed Sunday, October 6, 2024, at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. 

Born December 8, 1940, in Welch, WV, he was a son of the late Marvin and Susie Tempe Frazier. James had been a resident of Bluefield since 1977, he was a retired wholesaler in the grocery business. James was a member of St Mary's Orthodox Church in Bluefield, WV, where he served as a Sub Deacon. 

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Anne Phelps Frazier. 

Those left to cherish James' memory are his son, Jeffrey Frazier, of Bluefield, WV, and two step-grandchildren, Selena Thomas and Amber Lucas. 

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, October 10, 2024, at St Mary's Orthodox Church, at 187 Justin Lane Bluefield, WV, at 10 AM, with Rev. Father Michael Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Bluewell, WV, with church members serving as pallbearers.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM.
