James Wesley Farmer II, 76, of Clover, SC, and formerly of Bramwell, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 in Kings Mountain, NC.
Born on November 19, 1942 in Bramwell he was a son of the late James Wesley Farmer and Dollie Mae Woods Rose. He was a retired Superintendent at Preservati and Dome Coal Company in WV and retired from Gaston County Environmental in Dallas, NC. He had lived Clover, SC and Kings Mountain, NC for 34 years. His Children and Grandchildren were the light of his life, but he was also the light in ours.
He enjoyed working in his yard and socializing with Family and Friends. He had the biggest personality and never met a stranger. He worked hard all his life in the Coal mines and Grading industry, now he can finally rest.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Farmer; and a son, Kenneth Duane Farmer.
Survivors include his children, Anita Johnson, James W. (Teresa) Farmer, III, Michael Farmer, Sheree (Brian) Nicholson, and Ryan Farmer; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and lots of loving brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Jonathan Riggins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
Friends may call on Tuesday, prior to services, from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home.
