James William Davis

James William Davis, 58, of Northfork, WV, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 22, 1965 in Roanoke, VA, he was a son of the late Samuel Wiley and Sallie Smith Davis. James worked for the West Virginia Department of Highways.

Those left to cherish James’ memory are his sons, Jeremy W. Davis of Peterstown, WV and Matthew C. Davis of Peterstown, WV; daughters, Jessica Davis of Talcott, WV, Tiffany M. Davis of Greenville, WV, and Laura F. Davis of Bluewell, WV; sisters, Pat Mahaffey of Conway, SC, and Denise Underwood of Bluefield, WV; 10 grandchildren, Isabelle N. Davis, Victoria F. Kidd, Ryan S. Davis, Oaklynn J. Davis, Lennox H. Davis, Brystal L. Little, Dylan S. Little, Colson M. Davis, Kain J. Poff, and Onyx W. Poff; and former wife, Donna L. Davis.

In keeping with James’ wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no public services. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Davis family.
