James B. Davidson

Rev James B Davidson 92 Bluefield WV went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 8, 2021 at his home.

Born August 3, 1928 in Bluefield, James was the son of the late Barberie and Lessie Davidson.  James was a graduate of Bluefield High School and Moody Bible Institute in Chicago Ill.  After graduating James alongside his wife Arnetta of 72 years, joined the South America Mission and served in Peru and Bolivia S.A for 37 years.  Upon his return to WV he served as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church and Riverside Baptist Church.   Currently he was a member of Brushfork Baptiist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Arnetta and sister Jane Major Corey and son-in-law Robert Torres. Those left to cherish James memory are daughters Deborah Davidson of Bluefield, Lynda Torres of Bluefield, Pamela Fowler, husband Don of Holly Springs, NC and Son James P Davidson  and wife Maria of St. Louis, MO, Sister Jean Farmer of Jacksonville, FL. and Brother Jack Davidson and wife Frances of Bluefield, WV; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held for both James and Arnetta , Saturday June 19^th, 2021 at Brushfork Baptist Church at 10:30 AM.
